I was visiting family and my uncle decided to take me there. Despite the fact that finding a parking place was difficult, we were seated right away. The waitress was very nice and attentive and we received our food promptly. Their mini tacos were amazing, as were their burgers! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes a bar and grill atmosphere, and of course, anyone who likes great food.

First time we went it was later in the day for drinks and a snack but..... today we came for breakfast!! And they killed it!! Huge portions and great quality at great prices. Service was great.

Lively atmosphere and delicious food. I’ll definitely revisit here in the near future. I highly recommend their burgers and fried cod fish sandwich, add French fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings as a side. If you’re visiting Manistee, don’t miss your chance to enjoy a satisfying meal at this long-standing restaurant. Built in the mid 1880’s, it’s got the old-town charm. Check it out! You’ll be glad you did

I have been here for the Saturday prime rib special and loved it , today tried their Rubin sandwich, very good, they use real smoked brisket.

Historic bar and restaurant in Filer, MI, near Manistee. Stumbled onto this place while out roaming around. Very crowded for a neighborhood joint, and I'm told it is the best breakfast in town. Open 7 days, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beautiful bar, fast and friendly service. We almost stayed another day just to try it out but will go on the way back instead. It looks that good!

This place is a hidden gem. It is in the middle of a neighborhood off of the main strip but close to the beach. The boasted chicken is the best thing on the menu. It is very crispy, has lots of flavor, and is moist and flavourful to the bone. The mashed potatoes are just mediocre. We also had the clams, which were great. There is a full bar and a few local brews on tap. The bar seats around 20. The restaurant seats around 40-50. We were greeted when we arrived and got a seat right away. I would say that is not a normal thing because while there, it got much busier and a wait. The bathrooms are very small and one person only. There is no air conditioning, so it was a little warm in there. The server Day, was very polite and attentive. The parking lot is behind the building (gravel) and has plenty of spots. There are no designated handicapped spots for parking. There is a step to get into the building and the door is maybe 36". I would definitely go back and try other menu items.

The food was prepared to order as it came out piping hot, kudos to the kitchen staff! We had pepper jack, gourmet mushroom and shared a Reuben. The server, I'm not sure of her name but I called her tie-dye because of her shirt. She was attentive, pleasant and informative. Good job We will be back the next time we're in Northern Michigan

Cute little bar/ restaurant hidden in Manistee! We had a group and everyone enjoyed what they chose. The jalapeno poppers were amazing! Food and drinks were also affordable for a group. HUGE menu lots of options. The wait staffing were all bubbly and nice, made it even more of a hometown feel Will definitely be back!
